Owl in the old oak tree.

“And are there any assets besides your wiseness?”

For a cartoonist, maybe not.

For Illustration Friday: hollow. I mean really, what else do you think about when you hear hollow: the old oak tree, with who who who from the wise old owl. Right?

I just looked for the poem and couldn’t find it. Okay, but it’s in my head.

The most common owl in Los Angeles is the Great Horned Owl. I see them very occasionally, and hear them frequently. Some people don’t know how much wildlife is really in LA! I think I’ve only heard two other species, and I’m not sure which they were – I think one was very rare, a stray from Hawaii.

    More cartoons:
  1. It’s Sergio!
  2. Aliens like People, they really really like them.
  3. Three cats consider a hole.

Write or draw something in the box.
